Benevolent Ministry

Our goal to love is spelt out in the Benevolence Ministry which is to draw people closer to Christ and to help them take their next step with Jesus by helping to meet their basic needs in times of financial crisis or transition according to biblical directives and fiscal constraints.

The Benevolence Ministry achieves this purpose primarily through specific checking up at the recommendation of the Welfare Committee and mandated by the church.

Any need and disbursements are to be accompanied by and made in tandem with: evangelism (when applicable), discipleship, and counsel on biblical financial stewardship.

Besides financial aid, the church of Christ, Okota seeks to make counselling available Care ministries (Evangelist meetings) or Christian counselling referrals and community resources.
