Children Ministry

The Okota Children’s’ ministry strives to encourage and equip kids to become the incredible Christ-followers that God has created them to be. At The Church of Christ, Okota, the Children’s ministry is focused on children in their first year through primary six to a life-shaping encounters with Christ. Whether it’s Bible study, Songs learning, a birthday sharing, or just having a meal together, making Jesus known in real and personal ways is at the heart of it. The bible reminds us to train the child the way he/she should go so that when they are old they would not depart from the training. Prov. 22:6

Throughout the year, all kinds of events are offered for our students. These events serve as both a spiritual boost and as community builders. Walking with Christ is a journey of high points and low points. Events are intended as a way to connect students so that when the low points arrive they have support and they have people to celebrate the high moments with.  As a means to help our students fund their trips to camp and missions they run a small coffee shop on Sunday mornings.
